Priscilla (Chapman) Fisher, 73, of Duluth passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Solvay Hospice House after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Born June 18, 1943 in Duluth to Reginald and Elaine (Roleff) Chapman, she graduated from Duluth Central High School before working at St. Jean’s School and Minnesota Power. She married Ron Fisher Sept. 12, 1970 and raised three children. She was a lifetime member of the French Club and an active and devoted member of Holy Family (formerly St. Jean’s) Church. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and spending as much time as possible at her camper by the lake. But perhaps most of all she loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Her deep and lasting devotion to her husband and children and her warm and generous nature ensured that she was loved by many friends and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Dan Chapman.
She is survived by her husband Ron; her children Bronwyn Lipinski of Duluth, Ethan (Heather) Fisher of Duluth, and Jessica (Kevin) Saba of Belle Plaine; her grandchildren Jonah and Dalton Lipinski, Emily and Lauren Saba, and Ethan, Hannah, and Lillian Fisher; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A special thanks to the many amazing doctors, nurses, and caretakers from St. Mary’s and Solvay Hospice House, who went above and beyond their duty to make an impossible experience one that was filled with laughter, care, and love.
