He graduated in 1959 from Campion Jesuit High School in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, and attended John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.     Joel Jerome Ofstie, 88, of Red WIng, died Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Deer Crest. Joe was born on August 13, 1931 in Hastings to Joel and Mamie (Benson) Ofstie. He graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1949. He enlisted in the Army as a Morse Code operator. On May 11, 1957 he married Ruth Froyum. Joe began his career as a carpenter working for Benny Nelson. He later worked as a construction superintendent for Gunnar Johnson Construction and then George W. Olson Construction.     Diana Post, 90, died peacefully at home in Zumbrota on February 3, 2020. She was born in Elk River, Minnesota, on October 17, 1929, to Kenneth and Emma (Fredrickson) Davis. Diana is survived by her children: Leslie (Dan Hinrichs) Post; Paul (Linda) Post; Tom (Lizabeth) Post; and her granddaughter, Nichole (Tom Knoll) Fairbanks. Diana was a spirited thinker. She was determined, hardworking and adventurous. Diana lived a long and full life that was blessed with a devoted husband, loyal children, close friendships, and successful career achievements. Diana was fiercely independent and prided herself on her frugality. Though she struggled to tell jokes, she was quick to laugh at them.
