Hentges, LaVon C., of Shorewood, was born 1-20-1936 and passed away peacefully on 3-16-2023 of metastatic cancer at the age of 87. Preceded in death husband DeVern L Hentges and brother Joel Grieshaber. Survived by children Kelly Hentges, Chris( Greg) Hentges, William (MaryJo) Hentges, Angela (Tom) Joyce and Joel Hentges; grandchildren Joseph and Luke Joyce, Colton (Alyssa) Hentges, Eva; great grandchildren Hayzel and Wylder Washington, Layton and Sutton Hentges, Dorothy; brother Al (Donna) Grieshaber, sister-in-law Loelita Hentges and many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Memorial service 11 AM Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Huber Funeral Home Chapel, 520 Second St., Excelsior, with visitation staring at 10 AM. A luncheon will follow the service at the Clarence Clofer American Legion Post #259, Excelsior. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
